iRacing World Championship Commences!
February 20, 2010Tonight sees the first race of the iRacing World Drivers Championship on road courses. The inaugural race sees Team Redline take on some of the best drivers in the world at Barber Motorsports Park.
The iWDC finally sees the best of the best racing each other in the same field, expect some suprises!
The 50 lap race starts at 10 pm GMT with a short 20 minute session beforehand with the whole field on track - will make getting a qual lap in very difficult! Pit stops will also be required so the element of strategy make come into play.
Tonight will see four team members taking part, Bastien Bartsch - fresh out of tearing up the GT Academy time trial,Dom Duhan - The Legend, Greger Huttu - The greatest of all time and Luke McLean - Grand Prix Legends God and runner-up in the Pro-Road series.
