The biggest racing franchise of all time, Gran Turismo, recently released a Time Trial version of their upcoming title Gran Turismo 5.

The time trial was accessible worldwide for free from the Playstation Network. With well over 1 million downloads the competition to get a chance of driving in an official GT season was intense.

So, luckily for us our stunningly quick French team mate stepped up to the plate to test himself against the others, and he did well! After being in the top 3 in the world for much of the competition he eventually finished 6th (missed the last week due to work!) which was easily enough to see him through to his country final on the 6th of February.

Bastien will now be travelling to the famous Paul Ricard circuit and will be driving the Nissan 370Z and the Nissan GTR! You will be able to catchup with Bastien on French TV as well. Details will be out shortly.
