Not impressed, save you money guys.
Sound of the car is good and track (only 1) looks ok but overall arcade springs to mind.

If you call this arcade you really have no clue about racing :)

Is there any way to pay with a credit card and not with paypal?
Dom

You can pay with your cc through paypal :) i did anyway:)
Grim - I think it feels ok tbh, the low speed grip is too much imo, but thats similar to all the nk cars. Nice to drive nkpro on lazer scanned tracks however:)

Problem is we don't have paypal here (macedonia) they don't list my place for some dumb reason so i can't pay through paypal...:(

I based my opinion of this on the fact I drove a better F1 car using netkar down at BRD and felt this wasn't nearly as good or involving. I lost interest in driving it too quickly compared to the F1 car on BRD's simulator which they had to tell me to get out of so they could go home.
FVA is very pretty but lacks depth. €15 will buy you the F1 car in iRacing and I'm sure you will get your monies worth.
Also as the original poster I felt that you guys wouldn't like it much and wouldn't be happy that I cost you €15.
Personally I expected it to much better coming from Ferrari themselves.

They never listed the UK when I tried to pay either, try selecting a different country and then look for yours again.
hope it helps.

I can't seem to get this to feel right with my G25, only lapping in the 1 minute flats because of it!! Very slow for me, I'm normally closer to the fast guys. I dont like the lack of grip on high speed, the curbs are like oil!! I've spun many times in the penultimate left right flick because of curbs. Strange considering the amount of downforce an F1 car generates at 150mph.

58 flats now, its an impressive simulator now that i understand the braking and steering, tough to get used to after driving nothing but skippys for months.

Dom, check out the controls.ini file. Its situated in your My Documents folder under Ferrari VA and then System. I'm sure i've read on the iRacing forum about changing the calibration settings within that file. I'm replying on my phone so can't check it out at the moment. :-)

C:\Users\USER\Documents\Ferrari Virtual Academy\cfg\controls.ini to be exact in Windows Vista/7.
I'm not sure fully how the numbers correlate, positively or negatively as I haven't tried playing with it yet. I'm down to Massa's time now, still lots of time on the table though.

Dom, I gotta ask you, why haven't you or Greger taken this on? Getting into the hotlap competition I mean... I thought for sure we'd see Greger up at the very top of the FVA rankings by now. I think most of us in the sim community would love to see him show his stuff to the real racing world, and this could be his best chance...
IMO, once this software is tweaked right, its as good as anything out there right now... especially in 3D surroundview, where it is just amazing. And btw, I think it suits the Fanatec steering much better than a Logitech. We ran the software at the recent 2010 Nvidia GPU Technology Conference, and the whole entire 3 days people were just amazed. You can check out a video from the GTC right HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SEkv2Y8IRVo).
