Saturdays 50 lap race at Zandvoort saw some incredible action, with Greger Huttu sealing an emphatic win to take his 3rd in a row!
For the rest of the team the race was eventful, a strong qualifying by Greger, Bastien and Dom saw them take 3 of the top 5 spots, with Ben in 6th place and Luke suprisingly down in 8th after a torrid session.
Dom and Ben chose to take a heavier fuel load and Dom was passed at the end of lap 1 by fast charging Ben. Greger and Bastien kept the status quo at the front of the field with Luke having to retire at the start.
After pitting earlier than expected to try and get a leap on Ben and Shawn ahead Dom slightly lost control on cold tyres once again damaging his car., this set the tone of his race and he had to eventually retire on lap 44.
With Greger out front and having a clean race, Bastien was under pressure from Richard Towler as he approached backmarkers, then in dramatic fashion they collided on the last corner allowing Shawn to come through and seal 2nd place, whilst Richard and Bastien limped home in 3rd and 4th respectively.
Ben mananged to come home for a great 5th place for his iDWC debut.
The team head to Watkins Glen next for extreme pain at the chicane.
