Nowadays there is alot of talk what sets are better and many times I've heard people saying better eqipment means faster driving. I for example beat my PBs when went from Sidewinder to G25. I also know some very fast and consistent drivers who use a mid-range wheel but with ECCI or other 300+ bucks worth pedals, but there are also guys with very cheap wheel and they can win...
So what do you guys say, I'm sure you have tried many wheels so far ;)

Its not the wheel, its the pedals ;)

Well i found the MSFF pedals pretty good, but when i tried the speed 7 it was a different level. Not in terms of times, i think my times were the same if not maybe a little slower at first, but mainly consistency, you can modulate the throttle a lot better.
The problem with FFB wheels is that they rely on good software support which doesnt usually happen. The wheel imo is secondary to the pedals:P

Well as far as my own experience. I have raced with a wide variety of wheels and pedals on LAN parties at friends places and etc. I always quickly adopt to another wheel and another one doesn't make me really faster. Performance pedals do tho, especially in the braking area. And as many people know I am an average simracer, it doesn't really matter for the aliens perhaps but slower drivers will become significantly faster with performance pedals.
